This is going to be SO much fun! This class is just PERFECT, and TOTALLY worth the $60. I will learn about a bajillion things about sewing, and I can not wait!

Well hello, Um.

I did a fun impromptu photo with my sister-in-law, Gretchen, recently, and the images were spectacular. The flash on my Nikon is actually inoperative right now, so we decided to shoot in the bathroom, and they are some of the most fun photos I have taken. This shot especially reminds me of Alice in Wonderland, partly because I have been a little obsessed since I was a kid, and partly because our apartment was built in the 30's and everything is designed for shorter people; it's like living in a fun house!

it's like the first day of school...

hi, i'm caite. testing, testing, 1, 2.

i really LOVE new projects and exciting new things. it's like the first day of school; that feeling of butterflies in your stomach, searching for the perfect back-to-school outfit, and shopping for school supplies (yes, please!). I wasn't always a huge fan of school, but i always loved the first day of meeting new people, making lifelong friends, oh yeah...and learning of course. :)

i am looking forward to sharing my chaotically peaceful corner of the world with whoever happens to show up.
